Born in Colombia, Bogotá DC, Andrés moved to Ecuador with his family at an early age and grew up on a farm surrounded by horses, beaches, and forests. Andrés studied in Quito and has an extensive background in ecology, music, and tourism. He's served as a guide for more than a decade, leading tours as a naturalist and bird guide throughout the Amazon rainforest, Galapagos, and Andes. These days, Andrés can be found leading tours abroad and enjoys guiding through Colombia. In his down time, he enjoys playing drums in a band, bird watching, kayaking, scuba diving, fly fishing, rock climbing, and photography. Most of all, he enjoys doing all of these things in new, exciting places.
